In 2008, the founders of ScribbleLive set out to give every broadband user the chance to write the first draft of history and publish it on the web in real-time. With expertise in web media and a passion for the culture of now, they focused on simplifying the live-publishing process.

Today, ScribbleLive is partnered with Rogers Ventures and has become the preeminent live content management system for media and news organizations. This web start-up has been named “the future of online journalism” by The National Post and has broken new ground in content delivery software. ScribbleLive continues to grow with every client, building real-time strategies for businesses with web revenue objectives.

Michael De Monte, Chief Executive Officer

Michael has been in the New Media business since 1983. During the last 15 years, he has worked as a Project Manager/Producer and was last employed by Canada’s largest broadcaster as Director of On-line Production. While leading a team of designers and developers to keep over 100 web sites active and up-to-date, Michael became central to all strategic planning initiatives for the web. This has given him unique insight into the behind-the-scenes of a media corporation and brings a keen sense of focus and control to client objectives.

Jonathan Keebler, Chief Technology Officer

Jonathan has been developing web applications for the last 12 years and holds a degree in Computer Science. He was last employed as the Manager of the Technical Development Team and was responsible, along with Michael as the project head, for the complete rebuilding of the broadband video players for Canada’s largest broadcaster. With their combined talents, the team was able to execute a web application that can handle enormous load and that can scale as necessary. Jonathan, the original coder behind ScribbleLive, brings a unique perspective to clients as both end-user and creator.
