And I think we're up and running in our various online locations.
Sorry, I know I should have done this all a bit earlier. Lemme just go and spread the word on Facebook...
Right, and I think now we can start properly. For all of you here or coming down, I;m in the bar, by the stage. Do pop by and say hello.
Be warned: you might get a shock on your way in this evening. Just be prepared to surrender some items. That's all I'm saying.
Right now, you're missing a fabulous selection of censored music, as spun by DJ Jason Phipp. More at

Two watchers? Make yourselves known chaps/chappesses!
I should tell you a wee bit about who and what might be going on this evening. Well...
Catherine Millet will be joining us, which is getting me slightly hot under the collar...
(sidebar - is anyone going to think of me as a spy/watcher, bearing in mind where I'm sitting, and my frantic typing?)
Sorry, I digress: Christian Jungersen will be here, as will Inua Ellams, Lee Stringer and Luke Wright...
Expect some Cahoots MacBeth too - and you can never have enough Stoppard on a Friday night can you?
And an acapella trio called Perunika too.
BTW, have been promised by Matthew, the producer who's holding the shebang together, that there will be lots of movement for the audience...
Which is my way of saying that I won't capture every detail of the evening. But then, you weren't holding me to that. Were you?
Bouncing to some hip hop I can't identify.
Oh, I forgot to mention our compere for the evening, Mr Andrew O'Neill. (No, not that one.) Big up, woot, etc!
I'm keeping an eye on what's happening in the twitterverse too. Just plugged in 'cabaret' and/...
...there's not much going on, TBH.
Stars in the bar! Catherine Millet has arrived!
Shouldn't carp, but I am in a wee bit of a draft here. Scarf has gone on.
There is a 'confessional' here too. Haven't seen it yet, but should you, you know, want a lie in on Sunday...
Here's my view:

Bar's starting to fill up.
You know when there's that air of not everyone's quite knowing what to expect? It's sort of like that at the moment.
Hey if you're here with iPhones or iPod touches, tune in and wave etc. There's wi-fi, and it's free.
As people are coming in, they do seem to be light of Metros, London Lites etc. (Other newspapers are available &c)
Be prepared for some questioning as you come in at the door.
It appears to be a friendly enough interrogation.
Like I said, pretty friendly:

The buzz is definitely louder now.
Just met IRL Alyssa, who's been helping with podcasting and the like for the festival
And there's a big group of major dignitaries/performers in front of me. Eeek!
Briefings &c. Showtime's pretty close now.
Should I have some booze, or should I try and remain compos mentis? Decisions, decisions...
Is there a term/word for the pre-show anticpation? Can't believe someone hasn't coined something...
T -5
Blimey! Just said hello to Catherine Millet. Sarah Sanders, who's been directing the festival made the introduction. Cool!
T-1, I make it.
People still coming in
Appears to be standing room only now, at least in the bar.
Oh, ok, I forgot that no cabaret ever starts on time...
People flashing torches around.
And water bottles going on the stage. It must be curtain time soon!
There's now a table/collection of banned books up in the foyer, with 'security' leering all over them,
They are! Great robes!
