[RWANDA] Dieter, the Field Office Director, gives us a picture of Rwanda - a beautiful country, but one filled with conflict and violence.
Bolivia
(Bolivia) Field Office Director Jaime Farrant is giving us an overview of Bolivia, and the cultural context in which he works.

[CAMBODIA] Per the usual, mob of excited GPGers waiting to rush the Cambodia prayer room. Field office director Patrick Stayton introing work in the country.
[CAMBODIA] Close to 400 girls rescued since office opened in '02, plus hundreds of perpetrators convicted.
[CAMBODIA] Amazing collaboration with Aftercare and other partners working together to provide holistic care for girls rescued from Cambodian brothels.
[RWANDA] Dieter explains that their office uses theatre productions to educate the community about property grabbing and land rights.

(Bolivia) IJM in Bolivia works on fighting child rape and human trafficking.

[CAMBODIA] Starting our time together with a story and video of precious IJM client.
IJM's main project area recognized by government as the best run sector in Rwanda and was awarded a formal certificate for their work. So confirming for our work!
[CAMBODIA] This client was lured into a brothel b/c of a sense of guilt -- traffickers said she was obligated to service men so she could send money to her family in the provinces.
[CAMBODIA] Pray that God releases victims of sexual exploitation from shame and fear.
[CAMBODIA]Pray for freedom from the stigma that society places upon them.
Bolivia successes
(Bolivia) Last year Jaime asked for prayers for 3 clients. Those 3 girls are well today -- and their perpetrators all received guilty sentences. This gave him and his team great encouragement.

[CAMBODIA] Thank for the rescue of women and girls in Cmabodia and for the good police, lawyers and judges who are ensuring their safety.
Dieter introduces us to IJM clients who have lost their property because their family members did not have a will.

(Bolivia) 2 of those 3 clients had children as a result of the acts of rape. Prayers are asked for them so that they may have strength and courage to love those children well.

[CAMBODIA] A background of peaceful music encouraging GPGers to pray and thank God for victories.
God has been working mightily in Rwanda - the justice system works better now because of IJM's presence - the staff has increased - people are restored to their property. It is exciting for us to see how God has answered prayers.

(Bolivia) In Bolivia, on average there are only 2 convictions for rape per year. IJM had 4 last year! Jaime and his team are expecting 10 this year.

[RWANDA] Room splitting up in groups to pray for the work.
[CAMBODIA] She and her sister are reintegrated into their societies -- supporting themselves financially, with vibrant smiles and beautiful, raw faith.
[CAMBODIA] She asks for prayer for her business -- that it would continue to see success.
[RWANDA] Dieter asks for prayers for the IJM staff - for wisdom, joy, patience, and compassion as they serve the poor in their communities.
[CAMBODIA] Also for her family -- that they would have health.
[CAMBODIA] Finally, she asks us to pray for a strong and trustworthy man that she could spend her life with --
[RWANDA] We pray that the clients would sense the Lord's presence and pleasure.
[CAMBODIA] Patrick is choked up as he explains the desperation these girls face -- the poverty that lures girls into decisions that are to us, unfathomable.
Bolivia
(Bolivia) We are praying for a client - Dulce. She was raped repeatedly by a member of her extended family -- who bribed and threatened her to never tell. Pray for justice in this case - as there are many obstacles.

[CAMBODIA] In 2008 alone, 64 trafficking victims were rescued and placed in aftercare -- praying for them now -- many of their cases will be tried this year.
[RWANDA] Thanking God for his creativity - for using the theatre productions to communicate justice to the people of Rwanda.
[CAMBODIA] In '08, 20 perpetrators were arrested and charged: 11 women, 9 men.
[RWANDA] Praying for God's healing and restoration in Rwanda, which is full of brokenness from the recent genocide.
Bolivia - Dulce
(Bolivia) Prayers for justice for Dulce, and that her depression leaves her and that she finds peace and hope in IJM staff who battle for her.

[CAMBODIA] Praying the story of Saul of Tarsus -- one of the most violent perpetrators of the 1st century -- that God would work in these perps lives to be transformed into a message of grace and mercy.
[CAMBODIA] 'I've been looking for a hero brave and strong -- someone to show me I belong' (Beautiful, by Ginny Owens) -- this is the message our Aftercare partners give to the girls. They are HEROES.
[RWANDA] Praising God for good relationships with the government - an answer to our pleadings to God for many years now.

[RWANDA] Rwanda has just started taking child sexual abuse cases - pray for justice in the lives of these children, and that God would provide us with trained counselors to facilitate healing.
[CAMBODIA] Praying that the perception of these women from their communities would be restored at a fundamental level.
Bolivia case
(Bolivia) Jaime asks for prayers for one of the biggest cases to ever be tried in country -- 95 Bolivians who were trafficked to Russia. IJM will represent many of the victims.
