Air Warfare (bigger show, more lights, pastors that cuss) gets the crowd, but misses the one on one investment with people.

In church, we gauge success by: how many people showed up, how much money did they give, is anyone ticked off at me
We have been taught poorly.
It is the responsibility of all maturing Christians to be intentional about pouring our life into relationships.
You are photocopying your life whether you like it or not.
Just because you aren't doing anything wrong, doesn't mean you are doing anything right.
Retirement is not an option.
If your not doing it now, you won't do it when your 55.
If you're not sharing Christ with people when you are 21, you won't do it later.
What's going to happen to our world when all the grown ups are gone?
What's going to happen to our church when all the disciples are gone? (and we are left with just church attenders)
What are the 'SO THAT's in vss 5-10:
SO THAT no one can dishonor the Word of God
SO THAT no one can have ammo against the church
SO THAT the enemy has nothing against you
SO THAT we make the Gospel on display
What are some ways you can transform your area of ministry into a disciple making ministry?
The progress of Ground Warfare is slow and often overlooked. You won't be recognized and no one will know you are doing it. You will invest 3 years of your life with 1 person.
The good news: We know that it works!
When Air Warfare is separated from Ground Warfare, it is doomed to fail.
The next generation will be impacted by us!
