Please consider this a peaceful appeal for change in Zimbabwe. My hope is that the rightful leaders will honour the people of Zimbabwe with a life of peaceful abundance. With my deepest respect I pledge to fast on Sunday and hold a vision of compassion and peace for all.

Prayer and fasting are a very biblical way of bringing about change so to the fast many of us will add prayer. A great suggestion to have a fast.
by Rosemary Jacob from Australia at 1/28/2009 7:56:16 PM
On Sunday, as I fast, I will remember that we, humanity, are sustained not only by the food of this world, but by the love that is pervades all things and is shared amongst us all. May may fasting be an act of love and prayer for peace.

I will fast on Sunday in Australia, and pray for the people of Zimbabwe, for an end to their terrible hunger and homelessness in that beautiful country, and to uphold their non-violent resistance to the Mugabe regime. I will pray for Mugabe too, that he realises that he is no longer a good leader for his people, and agrees peaceably to retire.

Zimbabweans need international help. Their democratic right to choose a new government in free and fair elections has been violated. Robert Mugabe and his government are illegitimate and SADC needs to remove them from power and let the elected MDC take over.
