11' Big news of course is that Wayne Rooney starts for United, we've seen how much he's been missed of late, has his absence cost them the title this season perhaps? Would love to hear from you on that one.

41' ROOONEY! My word, what an opportunity for Rooney, he finds himself unmarked in the box, you'd put your house, your car, everything, on him tucking that away, but he puts it wide! Let off for City. Costly for United.
43' Tevez does well to find Bellamy, Adebayor takes the ball brilliantly, super touch and he wins the foul.

HALF TIME: Manchester City 0-0 Manchester United - Not the most fluid of Manchester derbies, but a very competitive one at that. United will be kicking themselves, especially Rooney, for not at least registering one goal. But the main fact is that it's still 0-0 with 45 to play. Here's to a cracking second period!
