Thanking everyone who made #TCEA happen. Hurray! I'm glad they do this but I am sad that the teacher awards are not done in this forum.
Verizon just gave #TCEA a huge check - $68000 and now we recognize the teachers.

I really should apply for the #TCEA scholarship to help pay for my Instructional Technology Leadership degree. Sigh. I say that every year.

Chris Gardner's son was 14 months old - not 5 as in the film. He was homeless with a toddler. Amazing man.
The one thing his son remembers from this time - "Every time I looked up, my father was there." He didn't know they were homeless. #TCEA
He didn't know - he didn't need to know - that's what father's do. How lucky this child was that Christopher Gardner was his father. #TCEA
Found his first house - the same as any other...but with a rose bush in front of it. He knew. The owner rented without a problem. #TCEA
