Pakistan and Iran never want stability in Afghanistan, therefore, they should not be involved in Afghanistan's peace process, they will ruine the whole process as the history shows.

Security, Education and building Afghans capacity is the way forward for stable Afghanistan, investment, I would emphasis and agree with Shinkai Karokhail to urge the international community to help and provide opportunity and encourage businesses to invest in Afghanistan and help towards development and stability in Afghanistan, only aid is not a way forward.

Corruption is one of the biggest problems in Afghanistan. Almost all those who work in the current government are trying to fill their own pockets. They work for own profits not for public's. The seats and positions in current government are sold, they are not given on the basis of knowledge and abilitis. This issue needs to be raised and discussed in today's conference.

International organisations and NGOs have provided the bulk of social services in Afghanistan over the past 20-30 years. What roles do the panel think are appropriate ones for international organisations and NGOs going forward in the context of attempts to "empower" the Afghan government and communities to lead the development process? Is there a role and if so, for how long and on what terms?

Is one of the main issues the lack of an effective road system? If goods, services and information could be moved quickly across this vast country, would we see dramatic change?
