Good Evening/Afternoon readers, welcome to our coverage for this crucial English Premier League match between Liverpool Football Club and Stoke City from the Britannia Stadium. We'll get you the team line ups as soon as we know.
Stoke are; Sorensen, Higginbotham, Huth, Shawcross, Faye, Diao, Whitehead, Sanli, Delap, Etherington, Sidibe.
Liverpool are; Reina, Aurelio, Kyrgiakos, Insua, Carragher, Degen, Skrtel, Mascherano, Lucas, Kuyt, N'Gog.
The subs for each respective team are:
Stoke; Simonsen, Collins, Wilkinson, Whelan, Lawrence, Pugh, Fuller.
Liverpool; Cavalieri, Darby, Aquilani, Riera, Maxi, Spearing, Pacheco.
So Liverpool are without the talismanic pair of Steven Gerrard and Fernando Torres, where will the goals come from?

The players are walking out, and with Liverpool as desperate as they are, and Stoke confident at home, I'm going for a dour 0-0 draw.

Rafa going for a 4-4-2 as well, Ngog and Kuyt up front. Meanwhile, new singing, Argentinian Maxi Rodriguez starts on the bench.
1' Kick Off; Liverpool running right to left.
2' There's a beach ball on the field!!
3' Dangerous cross from Etherington, Stoke corner.
4' Corner cleared by Lucas, all for a wasted ball from Aurelio.
5' Liverpool wasting possession in good positions, the atmosphere is electric at the Britannia.
6' Both teams trying to find their feet, neither dominating the first five.
7' Free kick in a good position for Stoke, about 25 yards out from goal.
8' Huth drives it straight into the wall.
9' Dangerous Delap throw, Raina gets a hand to it and Liverpool clear.
9' Skrtel doesn't know where the ball is, scuffs his clearance. Step up Rory.
10' Another super throw by Delap, Raina again gets a hand, but neither Shawcross or Tuncay can send it goalwards!
11' Stoke starting to get on top.
12' Delap is a constant threat from the throws, but Raina collects to keep City at bay.
13' Tuncay collects Kyrgiakos, but there was no malice.
13' Degen and Ngog combine well, but the latters low cross is cleared.
14' Pictures of Stevie G in the crowd, they're already missing him today.
14' Aurelio hits a volley from the left hand edge of the box, gets a dangerous deflection but Sorensen gathers.
16' A wonderful ball into the box results in a Lucas shot from the edge of the box, but Faye blocks in time.
18' Good ball from Mascherano, but Ngog is off side. That was close.
19' Liverpool starting to wrestle back the momentum.
19' A Kuyt cross again falls to Lucas some 19 yards out, the Brazilian hits it, but collects a deflection and lobs high for Sorensen to collect.
21' Solid defence from Kyrgiakos and Liverpool get the goal kick.
23' Faye goes down as Delap stretches the calf, Lawrence is stripping down on the sideline, worrying news for the Stoke faithful.
24' Faye trudges off, Stoke temporarily down to 10.
24' SUBSTITUTION: Delap OFF --> Lawrence ON
25' That's a big blow for Stoke, Delap was looking at his dangerous best from the throw in.
26' YELLOW CARD: Lucas, carded for diving in the box. That was a close call for a penalty, the Liverpool players were going up.
27' SUBSTITUTION: Faye OFF --> Wilkinson ON
28' So we've had nearly half an hour and Stoke only have one substitution remaining. These players are going to have to stick it out.
